SAN FRANCISCO — More than 1.2 million people have signed a petition calling on the Trump administration to provide vaccines for the deadly coronavirus outbreak.
The petition is the largest anti-COVID-20 campaign on record and is backed by celebrities and public health officials.
The United States is on track to become the first developed country to have its coronaviral death toll surpass 1.5 million.
It’s also the largest worldwide.
The Trump administration is expected to announce Friday whether it will accept the petitions.
